Chicago– Lion's Gate, a magnificent 23,000-square-foot architectural masterpiece, situated in an extraordinary recreational setting within the coveted gated community of Sea Horse Ranch on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, will be sold at public auction by New York based Sheldon Good & Company, America's Real Estate Auctioneer.
The auction has been set for Tuesday, January 19th, 2010. The estate had originally been listed for US $33.5 million.
Located in the tropical paradise of Cabarete and only 20 minutes by car from Puerto Plata international Airport, known by many as the windsurfing capitol of the world, Lion's Gate at Sea Horse Ranch is a totally self-contained four-acre recreational sanctuary built as a Mediterranean villa offering the amenities, serenity and privacy rarely found in today's modern world.
